Incognito®
Air Conditioning System
Our Incognito® air conditioning range has been designed specifically for modern apartments with a balcony or private outdoor space.
What Is Our Incognito® Air Conditioning System?
Landlords and freeholders often object to installing air conditioning because external condenser units can detract from the property's visual appeal. This is especially true with properties situated within conservation areas.
Incognito® is our patent pending air conditioning system that addresses this cosmetic issue of ugly external condenser units. We have re-engineered the conventional external unit, changing it from a noisy and unsightly condenser box to a slim profile contemporary unit that sits on a balcony or in a private outdoor space and is designed to complement the building.
Out of the desire to overcome these visual challenges without compromising on the standard of heating and cooling, our incognito® air conditioning solution was born.
Our Incognito® range is ideally suited for residential developments with one or two-bedroom apartments that need to cool or heat up to 3 rooms, with the ability to control the temperature independently in each room.
How Does Our Incognito® Air Conditioning System Work?
Instead of using a conventional external condenser, our Incognito® condenser units are split into two components; a compressor box that can be installed internally or externally and a condenser coil located externally, such as a balcony.
By splitting the major components, the compressor box can be packaged up into a smaller and quieter housing, which in turn allows for more locations for it to be installed (internally or externally). Heat absorbed from the apartment can be rejected from the designer slim profile condenser coil in the summer months or heat discharged into the apartment in the winter months.
The compressor box is then connected via refrigerant pipework to the internal units that discharge the conditioned air; internal units can be wall, floor, or ceiling mounted, just like conventional air conditioning indoor units.
Internal pipework, communication cables and condensate drains can be hidden within partition walls, above false ceilings or buried under screed floors.
