Discreet®
Air Conditioning System
Our new patent pending Discreet® fully internal air conditioning range has been designed specifically for modern flats and apartments that require air conditioning with the added benefit of energy-efficient.
What Is Our Discreet® Air Conditioning System?
Up to now, the only option for apartments or flats without outdoor space or unable to accommodate external units, was to install a large centralised system, that would take up a large amount of sellable space. Our Discrete® system offers an alternative solution to this problem. Not only that, its decentralised design also facilitates an easy and cost-effective way of heating and cooling to individual units within a larger property.
Our new patent pending Discreet® fully internal air conditioning range has been developed to provide an alternative solution to a large and bulky centralised system, for modern flats and apartments that can’t have an external unit. We have re-designed the conventional external system to be fully internal, by utilising the space within the existing property, such as a false ceiling.
Our Discreet® range is the perfect option for developments with one or two-bedroom apartments that need to cool or heat up to 3 rooms, with the ability to control the temperature independently in each room.
How Does Our Discreet® Air Conditioning System Work?
Instead of using an external condenser, which requires outside air to cool, the condenser is split into two sections; the compressor box and the condenser coil housing; the condenser housing is installed above a false ceiling internally.
We then bring outside air in through ductwork and pass it over the condenser coil to allow the absorbed latent heat within the refrigerant to be removed and discharged externally.
The compressor box is located within a storage/utility cupboard or can even be `boxed in` on an external balcony. As our Discreet® condensers have been separated into two sections making each component much smaller, the compressor box can be neatly hidden internally or externally
and connects up to the condenser coil via refrigerant pipework. The compressor box is then connected via refrigerant pipework to the internal units that discharge the conditioned air. Internal units can be wall, floor or ceiling mounted just like conventional air conditioning indoor units.
Internal pipework, communication cables and condensate drains can be hidden within partition walls, above false ceilings or buried under screed floors.
